About
The newly designed website for MUAC, a contemporary art museum in Mexico, showcases a vibrant space for learning, creativity, and cultural exploration. The fresh visual identity, crafted by Menno Cruijsen, features a grid inspired by the museum's architecture, symbolizing both structure and freedom. As Menno puts it, “The grid forms the core of the new identity. Within this strict grid, there is total freedom.”
This concept guided the website design, allowing for a cohesive yet lively visual experience. The site brings the grid to life across all sections, enhancing user engagement while showcasing MUAC’s diverse offerings. Visitors can easily explore exhibitions, participate in debates, and engage in hands-on activities, reflecting the museum's commitment to cultural diversity.
